Here’s a new HTC phone you don’t have to wait until MWC for
News from Pocket-lint.com:

HTC has launched a new phone ahead of Mobile World Congress after all… sort of.

It has unveiled a new version of the HTC One (M8) as part of its special edition Champions League handset range. And although you won’t strictly be able to buy one, you could win one if you keep a beady eye on HTC UK’s social media channels.

The Collector’s Edition HTC One (M8) has the UEFA Champions League motif engraved on the rear, much like a former model, but also adds the names of every one of the past winners of the trophy since its reinvention in the 1990s.

The company employed the services of former winner (with Manchester United) Peter Schmeichel and Arsenal Ladies’ goalkeeper Emma Byrne to help launch the special version at Carphone Warehouse.

The competition will be detailed ahead of the Arsenal versus Monaco Champs League clash this evening, so get scouring Twitter and Facebook now to find out how you could get your hands on one.

Sadly Arsenal fans, your team’s not on the rear. For obvious reasons.

HTC will launch the much rumoured HTC One M9 on 1 March at MWC in Barcelona. Pocket-lint will be there to bring you all the news as it happens.
