There are so many awesome features in the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update that HTC should already be working out plans on how to adopt it to their existing lineup. PocketNow reports that this is just what’s going on at HTC apparently and the Taiwanese manufacturer has already gotten their hands on the update and determining the upgrade plans along with release schedule.

HTC said that they were excited about the release of Jelly Bean and the good news is that they plan to support it across a range of devices. Currently they are reviewing the update which will then determine their upgrade plans and the schedule for release. In an official statement HTC said users should stay tuned for updates on specific phone upgrade plans.

Generally OEMs will review and analyze new platforms first. It is thought that some of the top of the range devices, such as the HTC One X should have no problem being able to run Jelly Bean. However HTC wants to review it first and this may be due to getting the Sense parts optimized, and there is nothing wrong with that.
