HTC confirms Dropbox deal for its Android phones

TAIWANESE PHONE MAKER HTC has confirmed that its Android smartphones will have access to Dropbox for extra storage space.

The deal means that HTC’s upcoming Android based smartphones will come with a Dropbox app pre-installed. The firms have struck a deal that gives HTC customers 3GB more than the standard 2GB for a total of 5GB of free online storage.

HTC said, “Even better news is that Dropbox will now come pre-installed on all of our new Android phones, providing a total of 5GB free online storage!”

We’re waiting for confirmation from HTC but it appears that the offer is valid for existing HTC Android users.
